My Closet Find

I accidentally posted this on the sports forum!
It is slow tonite so I thought I would just mention something about the cleanup that I started.
I have been talking for 6 months about cleaning my side of the closet - well this week I finally started phase I of the organization and have found stuff I didn't even know I had or haven't seen in 13 yrs!

Find #1: I have a 3 box rack case of 81T
Find #2: a 68F full box of Iron-ons
Find #3: 1952 WS ticket stubs both Yanks and Ebbets Field

There is more but I won't bore you unless there are requests - have no idea what I paid for the rack case or the box of iron-ons - still pretty cool - it's almost like Christmas in July!

Edit: Christmas came early for JoeStalin tonite since someone posted stuff about the upcoming Football Schedule!!!!

Naw - ain't that old! A guy gave them to me when I purchased some programs from him when I was stationed at Ft. Gordon. I used to put a note on the bulletin board that I would buy stuff and he called me up. I gave him like 450$ for the lot - he really wanted more but that was all I could afford. Now I feel kind of bad since the programs were actually worth a lot more. Didn't know it at the time. In the stack were 2 55 WS Dodger programs in Ex condition along!
    God I love this stuff!

edit: I'm off tomorrow - last day of my vacation - we should do a 'last man standing' thread for the nite owls.

    Found some tie-dye t-shirts.
    Several damaged Starting Line-Ups.
    Some old National Geographic mags.
    Olympic pins.
    Old pipes.....not the tobacco kind.
A couple old zippo lighters from my war buds with inscriptions.

Can't sleep. Bulged disk in my neck. Putting together 200+ cards to send in to PSA within a week.

    I'd probably never sell those.

I used to have a large collection of Zippo lighters that I loved
but after several unsuccessful attempts to quit smoking
becuase I kept those lighters around....
I finally just gave them away to some old smoking
    buddies.

I think this was a bad week to quit both smoking and drinking:

My dad collected zippo lighters - he liked the art work. He was also a great guy.
