I've never been a fan of these colorized POS's but as a long time Dale Sr. and Jr. fan I say they could have at least put it on a nicer coin like an SAE.

Actually, it is typical NASCAR. The fans are very dedicated to their drivers and the associated sponsors.
The sport markets their image better than any other sport other than football. They will slap a driver number, logo, image on just about anything a consumer will purchase.
You may not get it and then most of them will not get why we pay so much for a old piece of silver.
