Cool thumbprinted Morgan and picture question!!

Ok, I wanted to start working on coin photo skills (even though my camera is outdated), and wanted to show a photo of this thumbprinted morgan that has prints at 9 o'clock, 6 o'clock, and 3 o'clock. Somebody must have used three pushes with a thumb to get it into a holder, and it toned over the prints. The pic is not that good, but you get the idea... But I still don't know how to take a photo from a site like fotopic.net, and attach it into a post directly!!??! So, any advice would be most humbly appreciated....

    If you need any more help, let me know. The hardest part is the http: part. You have to type it in perfect for it to work. I always try the "preview" first to make sure it worked!!imageposting pictures

    DorkGirl- I have that thread bookmarked, and was looking at it earlier- the question I still have is regarding the 50kb file size limit. If I have to upload a pic before I can drop it into a post, how do I get around the 50kb limit??

    Your picture is way under the 50k limit!! I just copied it to my hard drive then followed the instructions in the post. Try it, you all but there.image

    Well, I did try to upload it- I clicked on properties, and it said it was an 80kb file, more or less. PCGS wouldn't take the file, and said it was too large........

    You need photo software like "Microsoft Photodraw" or something similiar to reduce the image to less than 50kb.

    But even disregarding this particular photo size- I still don't know the process of placing a fotopic.net file into a post in order to bypass the 50kb file size limit......

    Right click on your photo and save it to your hard drive. It's only 33k, then upload it, I couldn't find an url on that website to use to post the picture directly into your post. Try Photobucket, easy to use, and all you have to do is copy and paste the url directly onto your post. Way easier, no middleman, you don't have to upload anything to CU.

    I right clicked your picture on fotopic.net and asked for properties. I highlighted and copied the URL where the actual image is stored (ctrl-c)

    http://images2.fotopic.net/?iid=y3m5xq&outx=360&oq=0

    Then in the tread you want to put it in click reply and it opens the reply page. Just above the text area there are a series of buttons. The fourth from the left looks like a picture frame. Click that button. In the box that opens paste (ctrl-v) the URL. Click OK. In the text area you will see

    {img}http://images2.fotopic.net/?iid=y3m5xq&outx=360&oq=0{/img}

    Except the {} will be [] and the result when you tell it to post reply will be
