there are about 30 on ebay now.
do these reprints really demand this much: 52 mantle reprint
the seller does mention it's a reprint and doesn't try to hide it.

<< <i>the 1983 reprint set is somewhat desirable, 300.00 worth i dunno... >>
Sadly, someone will buy this and then try to pawn it off as the real deal to some sucker.
This one was talked about the other day - 04 Standard Catalog of Baseball puts the set at 275$ I recollect and the Mantle card at 30$. So if you bought a sealed set and you pulled a real nice one, it would almost have to be a 9 or 10 to command that kind of money IMO. Having said that, look at what it is bringing.
BKAH brings up a good point about some unsuspecting soul - but you would really have to be a novice since the cards were printed in the modern era standard size 21/2x31/2, the fronts are more semigloss finished and the back says *Topps 1952 reprint series* on it.

Here's one of the ugliest real ones I have ever seen closing in minutes on ebay:

Imagine paying 1500 bucks for a card
that will net you a NEGATIVE rating in the registry!!!
(it is a PSA 1, with a qualifier which will set it back 2 places...)

Miss Kut was my 8th grade mathematics teacher and having to go up to the blackboard to solve a problem was often times embarassing if you get my drift.
Is that the teacher that was having S*x with a 14 year old kid in I think FL and then the kid was dumb enough to turn her in???
No but close. Would you have turned her in or upside down!
