New proof IHC. my first CN.

Here is my first CN indian proof. Very nice looking. The nick on the cheek looks like a giant mark on huge pictures but is barely noticable in real life and normal lighting. Nice mirrors. Nice frost.

Nice coin. I agree the mark would keep it out of 65 contention, although I have see PLENTY of IHCs in 65 holders with hits on the cheek!

Nice looking coin. I like coins like this as it makes me wonder about how it was produced with the unpolished "A"s in states and America, the contact mark on the cheek (on a Proof????

) and the strike doubling on the reverse. Congrats.

Its a PR-1 which has the A's unpolished in STATES and the final A in AMERICA.

Looks like a cameo to me. What's the grade? PR64?

You recognize the coin maybe? yeah 64cam, just got it in the mail yesterday.

is there a good reason why the a's are unpolished?

The A'a are unpolished probably because the devices were sunk a bit deeper than usual. The area inside the A's as well on the shield were sunk deeper and not polished out.

Funny, I did recognize it, but I didn't catch it right off that it was the one I just sent out. It's my favorite coin. (My favorite coin is the one I just sold)
