Milky film on coins ???

I've done a search on this forum about milky or hazed over coins. Got some answers, but I was wondering if anyone has watched their milky coin over the years to see how it progresses. How bad does it get ?? I noticed this mostly in a couple of my mint sets and was wondering if they need to come out of the mylar plastic the mint packages them in. I have seen this on Morgan Dollars also though. Thanks for your comments. image

Placid, thats somewhat like it only lighter. I have a 68 mint set and the Kennedy half is completly covered with a creamy looking haze. The 69 Kennedy had it too. Thanks

Placid's coin looks like PVC. The haze you're talking about is not greenish and results from something else.

I thought it was either milk spots from the mint or a dip not rinsed right. Pvc hmm...

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
