got my submission back, tell me what you think

Sub.# 559269 zip 54751

I'm happy with the cards for the most part. I wish the 1984 Reggie would have been higher, I was thinking 8 but otherwise it's good. Needed all of them for my sets.

I think you don't need to make the same post on two different forums.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • Why not? That's twice the people to give their opinion. Unless I am missing something, I do not see the harm.

7 MVP awards, the single season HR record, career walks record, single season walks record, 700HR/500SB, and two batting titles near 40 years old. How can one argue that those aren't stats of the greatest to ever play the game??? All this and there is still more to come!!!! Bonds:2005 NL MVP. Or are you going to doubt him again?

Wow, alright, if I offended some of you with the two posts, which it looks like I did, I apologize. But here's something to chew on, I recieved 5 posts on both combined and 4 of them were from people complaining about the two posts. I mean, alright, if you have a problem with my posts, then fine but leave some kind of comment for the orginal meaning of my post. The only one that had a comment for me was WinPitcher, who I thank for it. I thought the reason we have the message boards on here is to post our questions or ideas or whatever and see what others think. Not to tear someone down for a stupid, and I do mean stupid, reason. I think the old saying is "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say it at all." That's just my two cents. And I'm sure I'll probably offend someone with this one too and I guess I apologize in advance but I just had to get it off my chest.

I don't think it's a big deal. If you are asking for opinions on it, I would post it on this board. If there is vintage or it's up for trade then I would say go ahead and cross-post it to this and one of the other boards. I hate seeing multiple posts on here, but if there is a point, then so be it. The other thing is that not everyone reads more than just one board.

Now, I'll go look at your results and let ya know what I think, since that is the original meaning of the post anyway. image

BTW, I don't think MikeSchmidt meant to be rude or offensive in anyway, I think he was just saying essentially what I said, without going in to any detail... But I can't speak for him, so maybe not.

The 63 is probably pretty nice. Too bad on that 91 Favre, a 9 gets a much higher premium. Still a nice card of a HOFer though!

One question too.. What service level did you use? Was it the 5 day special?

Agree with envoy. As for what I think of your submission - I'll simply say 'ehh'. If you are happy with it, great. I don't think any of them are really worth that much - and I don't think that you had a particularly strong amount of value add from your submissions - especially once you factor in the per card shipping and handling costs. So - if they're just for you and your collection, great. If you got them to flip - I think you wasted your time and money.
