OK. If I put up for auction a pile of dog crap, and tell you it is a pile of dog crap and you buy it, how can you complain that you got dog crap? Apparently his "customers" are happy with what they got. He is not saying anything that the card is not. It is not the sellers fault but the uneducated buyers. But they are getting what they pay for..... go figure......
What I don't get is why so many of the cards graded by that company are trimmed. Why trim a card just to send it to a company that apparently gives almost everything a 10? Is it just a force of habit for some of these jerks?
The only reason I can think why the bidding has topped $200 is that the bidders think they can crack it and get PSA 9 ... which right now is fetching $350-$400. I doubt that it would, since it was likely graded PSA 8 along with the Puckett in the first place. That is, if it's not an x-acto special.
"They also have incorporated a "Pristine" grade to their service. From the cards I have seen graded by Gem Elite, I am very impressed with their determination of the final grades."
Jr You can bet the farm on one thing when it comes to Gem - like Pro, there is a good chance that the card has been trimmed. This company is, IMO, totally without merit and can not be trusted. In fact, it is possible that they may be a 'supplier' as well as a 'grader' of cards - remember I am alleging this and not saying that I have evidence. Now, having said that, this is one company that I would not feel good apologizing to. Mike

BigCrumbs! I made over $250 last year!
Or maybe he cracked a PSA 8 open and sent it to GEM Elite? He says they are both from the same set.
