Anyone have a close-up pic of a 56-D Lincoln cent with a dbl. "D"?

per Redbook, there's a 1956-D with traces of second "D" under initial "D". Got a close-up pic? thanks in advance.image

You can search on coppercoins' site here. Some of the 1956-D RPMs are illustrated, but not all.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

  • You'll get to see one if you use the link above. Just search from 1956 to 1956, select Denver, and select mint mark variety. The one you're looking for is 1956D-1MM-008.

  • Also, if you click on the marker photos link, you'll get to a larger picture of it.

This is the photo of the variety that I used in the book Looking Through Lincoln Cents on page 174.
