I think you did fine, you paid less than $20 over greysheet. Hard to tell about the color on the reverse since it is a scan, but it may be very nice and well worth the small premium you paid for it.

Thanks for the positive comments- it's hard locating CC morgans that don't look like miss liberty has been in a vicious fight with large animals with claws.....

I suffered from buyers remorse too when I purchased my first CC Morgan. Relax and enjoy the coin, the buyers remorse will be gone by morning.

The Carson City Mint was a primitive place. They would place the newly minted coins on a buckboard and travel over very poor "roads" to get where they were going. The poor coins would be whipped into a froth.
