    1) Card is pack fresh
    2) Fresh from a sealed case (just like produce)
    3) Card is undergraded....crack it open and resubmit it to another co.
    4) Card is gem mint....send it in and get a 10.....
    5) (my ultimate fav) PSA 10??

My uncle gave me this 1952 Topps Mantle that he found in his college roommate's step-sister's grandfather's attic which the grandfather's brother had bought at an estate sale in 1955 for ten cents. By grading standards, I would rate it a 10, but just so I don't over-grade, I'll call it a 9 on here. I know it books for $18,000, but I'm hard up for cash (my car died last week), so I'll sacrifice the card at no reserve in this 3-day auction. It's ungraded and I make no guarantees that it will grade because they are so subjective at all those places, but I have no doubt it's the real deal, it looks and smells old. You can check out the pic to see for yourself. The red splotch that is missing on the back upper-right corner is a rare printing error also, which makes this card even more valuable. I'll accept payment through Western Union or wire transfer or cash, no Paypal on this one because they charge too much in fees. No escrow on this one either, my brother's teacher had a bad experience with escrow and wound up getting ripped off. Shipping is $3, insurance is optional. No refunds. If you bid and don't pay, I will leave negative feedback and report you to e-bay.

My favorite is "PRO=PSA". I also like "CARD IS BEING SOLD AS-IS (UNGRADED)!!" Or any other crap sanfranciscobaytrading writes in their scams...err...auctions.

  • "Bid with confidence" :Lame

Oops, I'm guilty. I do state that because I back it with 100% feedback, but maybe there's a better statement.

I like "so beautiful, you can almost make love to it."

Perhaps I should qualify my original statement. If you say, "I've got 100% feedback so bid with confidence," that's cool, but a lot of sellers just state, "Bid with confidence," as if it means something by itself.

my favorite is some thing like this...

Yep-panandrews only sells "rare/hard to find" cardsimage

I even bought some due to their rarity. image

They were very nice transactions, he is a good eBay seller.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.
  • this also has to include all of the 1/1 you see:

    it's a 1/1 cause it's the first card (1/250)
    it's a 1/1 cause it's the last card (250/250)
    it's a 1/1 cause it's that players jersey number
it's a 1/1 cause there is only one (any number/250)
    it's a 1/1 cause his rookie year was in 99 (99/250)
it's a 1/1 cause he has x number of touchdowns, points, homeruns, etc.
it's a 1/1 (cause it's fake and made at home using some kind of stamping machine to print 1/1)
it's a 1/1 cause it has dirt stains on it (i actually saw these on ebay on game used jerseys, baseball, and bases)

    my all time favorite:
it's a 1/1 cause i never seen one like this before!!!!

"I don't know anything about cards" -- from a seller who has 50 reprint cards up for auction, and in each case he's not sure but thinks they might be real.
