Any Hockey Collectors Going to the National?

Good Riddance, Yawie, RayM8, anyone? There are a few cards I am looking for if any of my hockey brethren can find them at the Nat. I wanted to go myself, but surgery prevented that from happening.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Unfortunately, no. I had my permission slip signed and everything, but it turns out that the National fell on the same weekend as my sister's wedding. Too bad her fiance's from Red Bud, Ill., and not Cleveland.

One of these years I hope to make it down there......just seems that every year when the time comes, I've already blown my kitty on cards from ebay.....for you unmarried guys, a 'kitty' is that secret slush fund that you squirrel away little by little so that the wife doesn't blow her top when she sees all this cash being paid for 'pieces of cardboard.....and it isn't even new cardboard....' image
  • Being from Hamilton ,Ontario and working 5-6 days a week it's difficult, maybe next year I will book some vac time to attend.
