I'd guess most forum members are signed up on eBay.

Not me anymore. I made the mistake late last month of mentioning the name of a current ANA governor/eBay seller on one of their coin discussion boards, and discovered that one of his former employees reported my offense as one so grave that I had no right to appeal my suspension of my account of five years.

I am on Ebay all the time.
However, I would not go near that Coin Chat room anymore. I went there with the assumption that it would be exactly like this site. Talk about coins, Take about your auctions, talk about Buying Selling etc. And I found out it is total Tabu to even think about mentioning the words MY Auction. So instead, I watched and listen for awhile. I now know everything there is about Chu^*^&*^&ies kids Soccer game. But I found nothing about Coins and collecting. Try to get them to help grade a coin ? It's like pulling teeth

Ebay itself is fine, but stay the hell away from the Coin Chat room. Why would anyone want to go to a coin chat room and talk about there coins? Soccer is far more important. ;

I've been doing eBay since 2000. I am just sick with it now. It just seems to be more and more a chore to get through the whole process anymore. I received a "signed" email stating "we take customer service very seriously" I want to believe that. But I don't believe that. So yes, I'm a member of eBay.

Been there since '98, but I also feel the same. Customer service and the whole experience is going down the tubes. I see Ebay in five years being a "retail" market place. In alot of catergories it already is.

It sure is. Pages and pages of junk, counterfeits, replicas and bogus slab companies on Ebay, no matter the category. And Ebay refuses to let buyers filter out bogus sellers, which means the scammers' crap is sure to pollute your searches. Who wants to sift through all that? I don't. Legitimate sellers will suffer until Ebay institutes agressive fraud countermeasures and ensures fairness in the marketplace.

Have you ever studied whether your lack of participation in Ebay auctions has impacted the Ebay market for a particular series?
