Paul F. Taglione/NE Rare Coin Galleries

I read a few of the books that Paul F. Taglione wrote on gold coins. I found his theories on the coin market and market economics to be very intriging and insightful. A lot of his theories made great sense, and his knowledge of how coins are marketed/graded/promoted was incredible. However, upon further checking, I noticed that there was a FTC case against his firm (New England Rare Coin Galleries) and it seemed to deal with the selling of overgraded coins to customers. Does anyone know anything else about Taglione or his business or this legal case? I find it interesting to get more background on authors, and coming across this case after I thought so highly of his books was quite a surprise. Thanks for any insight.

Agreed. The book has held up surprisingly well through the years.
