whats a "slabbed" coin?? can anyone explain it for me?

Thanks for asking, being the Rookie here even I can answer that one.
A slabbed coin is one that has been graded by a professional Grading service such as PCGS and placed in a sealed plastic hold. Thus Slabbed.

if there's a grade on chunk of plastic that's backed up by some semblance of a cash guarantee about the accuracy of the grade, then you have a certified coin.
