Thanks Wybrit. How do you post a link? I just tried cutting and pasting the address, which obviously doesn't work.

Copy the address and then select "http". Paste the address in the field and hit the enter key. In the next dialog box, type text such as "Link." Hit the enter key again.

Hey- thanks for the heads-up. This has to be the first time somebody's posted a "for LordM" link that wasn't a holed coin! image

Looks like a good match for my 50-cent piece, and a good seller, too. image

Now I just have to see if Dan has any "wiggle room" on that piece. image

Which Holey Hat and which head?

(Dan is the owner of the other Holey Coin Hat I made, for those of you who weren't at the last FUN show.)

The coin has arrived. I had initially quibbled with Dan a little over the grade, saying it didn't look VF+ to me, based on those pictures- more like a regular VF20. He said VF+ obverse and XF reverse. This was an important discussion, since VF is $35 and XF is $125 in Krause.

Dan was very helpful and sold me the coin for $45 (half the BIN price!), and ended the auction for me (though I hadn't asked for that). It was shipped like lightning, and I must say, upon having the coin in hand and seeing it in proper lighting, it is much sharper and brighter than it appears in those pictures. In retrospect, Dan, I have to admit you were right on this one!

Many thanks to Dan for a great deal, and thanks again to bosox for pointing the coin out to me.
