Anybody have not receive a package via USPS, lately?

I bought 2 sets of 300+ cards from 2 diff sellers and have not gotten them. One is over a month now and the other is 3 weeks. First time I'm going to lose not 1 but 2 package from USPS. I already told the neighborhood postal carrier. Will they ever show up in my mailbox? I emailed both sellers and was told that they were sent. No tracking provided by the sellers.

I'm generally mixed when it comes to the post office, but recently I moved and the forwarding never went through, apparently. I got a call from one of the old neighbors who connected me to the postman. He knew we moved and held the mail for us. Included in the stack was a very valuable set of three 49er season tickets for this upcoming year. I retrieved the stack, thanked him profusely, and redid the forwarding card. If we ever can't make a game, he's on the short list of those due a freebie.

I've have a severe problem with slow US Postal Service recently and didn't receive a M.O. from them.

Yes, I am still waiting for a package that was shipped on 06/28/04. The package was insured but I really want the package as it was for some 1974 Topps cards that looked very very nice including a Nolan Ryan. From the pictures on the auction, it seems like the Ryan should grade no less than an PSA 8.

About a year ago, I received a package from Canada that took 45 days.

    Still waiting patiently

The Sports Cards Plus May 27 auction catalog was mailed to me May 7, for an auction closing May 27. I got it July 9. It traveled approximately 1 mile per day on average. image

The same day I received a card from Donruss Playoff (a No Purchase Necessary response) that had been mailed on May 3.

Both packages arrived intact and undamaged.

    Wow! Took that long!

My postman said as long as there is label or readable address it will be delivered or return to sender. If the label comes off or no readable address they go to their recover center to be auctioned off. I used to see them auctioned off cards on ebay.

I ordered a thick book from amazon last year. Amazon notified me and also included the tracking. I was tracking the package after 6 days, the package was in NJ distribution center. I was expecting the package to arrive in 1-2 days. next thing I know my book went westward and was in TN. Three days after my book was back again in NJ and got it the following day. I was telling the postman about this. He said problem with scanner (might be dirty).

One postal clerk told me not to put DC or insurance label (blue sticker) below the zip code the scanner might read the label instead of the zip code.

Still no sign of my sets.

I don't know what type of post office service used by the seller of the sets. I paid $7 shipping.

The seller of 1+ month ago set (400 cards) claimed 1st class. 1st class for this (2lb+ package) is already priority. Claimed he will trace and check postal record but couldn't provide one. I don't know if he sent it to the wrong person. He running several auction of the same sets at that time. I'll probably call my cr. card next week if i don't get this. I paid directly with CC. Seller said this is the first time it happen to them. Seller lied. I went to check one of his negs. This seller received a neg FB awhile back from a buyer who didn't rec. the card (single card).

the 2nd one (about 350 cards) claimed parcel post. paid $7 shipping. He said he didn't put tracking. This one I paid by Paypal.

I hope my sets arrive this week.

If they have no tracking and you used PayPal, at least you'll get your money back.

  • yeah my 52 topps mantle got lost in the mail. at least that's what the ebay seller said. I guess I should have paid for insurance. oh well.
