New to submitting to PSA

I would like to submit some cards to PSA, and am wondering if the only way to do it through the mail is to become a member through PSA for $99? Is there any way around that initial fee. I am aware that that fee includes some perks including six free submissions. Just curious.

Thank you,

Don

I believe they have a list of Shops that can/will submit on your behalf. Also "maybe" someone here may also "combine" with an order they are doing.

Pay the fee, it's much easier doing it on your own than having to submit through shops... too many horror stories from doing that. You get SMR magazine and on-line and 6 grades, so it's well worth the money, especially if you're submitting cards that are worth anything significant, because grading of them is much more expensive depending on declared value, or if they are over-sized, tallboys, or cabinets.

Or go the the shows they attend and submit there, but it'll be more expensive doing that.
