I use a FINE SCRATCH REMOVER, a fairly thick liquidy paste made by Novus. I say 'fine', because they've got three different 'flavors'. The thinest is too thin (almost watery), the one for heavy scratches, is too abrasive in my experience.
The middle one is just right. Works really well, just apply in a circular motion, let dry and then buff. When applying or buffing, don't use too much pressure or you might make stress fractures in the plastic case.
If you're unsure of what you're using, just do a test on the back of the case in a corner rather than directly over the coin.
I understand that forum member Pushkin also sells a scratch remover for slabs that I suspect would work perfectly well on GSA's too.
Yes, I've got some left. I believe that I've got about 20 or so. Unfortunately, I've not seen any recently on ebay. The price of $425.00 that I posted is from over a year ago.
In the past, I've always priced them back of ebay pricing to be fair and to give the buyers some room for profit if they chose to sell them soon after purchase.
Can anyone here provide any links to recent sales on ebay?
Thanks!
