IHC Rotated Dies

How common are rotated dies on IHC?

I have an 1863 with a slight rotation....maybe 5 degrees, & an 1864 with about a 45 degree rotation.

I think they're pretty common--the slight rotation shouldn't get anything extra. The 45 degrees, maybe a small premium if sold to the right person.

A five degree rotation is quite common and worth no premium. Someone might pay a slight premium for a 45-degree rotation, but not much. In general, with the IHC series in my experience, anything up to about 10-15 degrees rotation is not terribly unusual.

Don't know how common they are, they pop up for sale on Ebay often. I purchased a 65 with a 45 degree rotated reverse from a local dealer a couple of months ago. I would guess that at the very least they aren't rare.
