what's he babbling about? does he mean that now that pcgs assigned higher grades, the coins are worth more now?

Someone would not want to buy a bunch of overgraded raw coins would they?? Never know when you might get one or more that were cleaned in the past.

Everyone knows pcgs plastic is worth more than ngc plastic.

The article quotes Larry Goldberg as saying "I believe the reputation of the PCGS 'brand' enhances the marketplace value of these coins". He's probably right. Doesn't mean the numismatic importance has increased.

If I could afford them (as in win the lottery) I would. I'd crack them out and put them back in the presentation case where they belong.
