Is it me or does the bottom of this card skew small to large left to right. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=55918&item=5107972591&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
Also, is this something that a scanner may due? I noticed one guy, every gem 10 he had looked bowed?
Who sang-I won't get fooled again!

Beckett is notorious for grading sheet-cut vintage cards, and trimmed modern cards. for modern, they allow a 1/32 inch size leeway. a lot of unscrupulous losers end up trimming up their cards, sending them to BGS, and getting a ton of 9.5 Gem Mints. i'm not familiar enough with BVG to comment on the Snider, but most of the suspect BVG cards are 9's and 9.5's (due to sheet cutting, most if not all have pristine subgrades, except for the surface which is always lower)

<< <i>I have owned several high dollar BGS and BVG graded cards and all of them were completely kosher. IMO, there are two red flags here. First is this "raw card review" nonsense. Why not finish it by getting it slabbed? Second is the seller, who is notorious for pulling shenanigans.

I can't wait for Thursday to roll around...
<< <i>why is the grade on the sticker Hand Written????????? >>
The grade doesn't show up in a scan, I'd assume... just making it so buyers can see.
