Enough said.

  • You'd prefer PSA 4 (MC)? I've got PSA 10's with big 'ol wrinkles on them. What's your point?

That's one ugly miscut, but as far as I know a miscut can be graded 2 by PSA as well, if you ask for no qualifier. That one looks like it might be a 5 other than the MC (which, as someone said recently, is like saying Marilyn Chambers might be a virgin if not for all the porn flicks).

PSA ain't perfect either. Check out the PSA 10 Bagwell I posted on the other GAI thread.
  • looks like a reasonable grade. other then the miscut it looks to be at least a 4.

    MF02,

While a picture says a thousand words, this picture of a GAI 2 (and associated 1000 words) says nothing...................

    What is the point ???????

If your trying to knock GAI, which I sense you are, you didn't do a very good job.

  • i think he was trying to make the point that GAI owners have awful taste in faux wood tables. look at that ugly thing, it just screams "1973."

I assumed he was suggesting that the card had slipped under the insert and was not miscut (or at least not miscut as much). Hard to tell from the scan.

Yeah, I thought the card had slipped under the insert.
  • Goodriddance,
You got me laughin' again. However, I must take issue with one point...I believe the table to be of 1974 vintage rather than the '73 you so flippantly asserted. Further, most tables from the '73 series would have been formica...you really should learn more about tasteless tables before coming on here and shooting blanks.
    Flap,
Now I get it. It seems that the gasket-slippage has been cause for some concern with Global, although I have not had any problems personally. Goodness, that will be a sad day when my gasket has slippage...

Ohhhh, the gasket was the point and it's not a miscut after all. Man, that card must have a hellacious crease or something to rate a 2. I agree, the occasional card slippage hurts GAI and it's such an easy design fix. Must be they have like 10,000 of those gaskets and don't want to waste 'em.
