Every so often a friend asks me to dispose of their "collection." Well, it's happened again. A friend was moving and decided it was time to sell his "coin collection" assembled over several decades. I'm going to group it into several like lots and see if there are any takers here. If not, off it goes to Mr. I'll Buy Anything.
SOLD-----Lot 1---6 rolls of common date Wheat circulated Wheat cents. There is one solid date roll of 1955. The other five are a good mix of dates mostly in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s but also included some of the more common teen dates like 1910, 1919, etc. $12.00
SOLD-----Lot 2---24 circulated steel cents. Some with rust, some not. $4.00
SOLD-----Lot 3---150 average circulated silver Mercuries. A good mix of teens, 1920s, 1930s and, yes, even some 1940s. A few (maybe 10-15) look like they've been in an album and have some neat toning. $82.50
SOLD-----Lot 4---38 circulated Buffalo Nickels. Most are partial date but a few are no date and a few may make full date. I'd say the group averages partial date. $15.00
SOLD-----Lot 5---11 War Nickels--circulated, of course. $5.00
SOLD-----Lot 6---178 silver Roosies. I roll looks like a complete set from 1946 to 1964. It had 47 pieces. Counting through the edge of the tube I came up with 47 pieces. Either one piece is missing or I counted wrong. Then there's 131 others in three more tubes. About two-thirds are circs (XF to AU) while the other third are uncs. $90.00
Lot 7---A ten ounce .999 fine silver bar "Minted From US Strategic Stockpile Silver". $75.00
Lot 8---12 Brilliant Uncirculated Silver American Eagles, one each 1986 (bettter date), 1987, 1988 and 1992; two 1989 and three each of 1995 and 2001. $110.00
USPS shipping is additional. Please include your zip code with your request to reserve a lot and I'll give you a shipping quote.
Thanks for looking,
WH
