Lustrous new Jefferson nickel

I just received this in change today from the super market. It has great luster which really caught my eye. It looks like a good strike too.

Yup, FF for sure. The eagle on the cuff is all there too. However the luster really got me. With a slight tilt you you see a cartwheel just like a gem Morgan.

Great question! If I'm buying it is AU, if I'm selling it is Unc

Seriously it is technically AU because it circulated right? But it probably came out of a fresh, UNC roll and was dumped right in the register, then handed to me minutes later. So it has minor scuffing and a few bag marks but would grade UNC, right?

In fact I'd bet it grades UNC...

The coin is easily unc and quite choice. (well-struck MS-63).

Until the luster is broken by the accumulation of insults on the high points that
we call circulation, it will grade unc.

I like the design....but so do alot of other people, I have only received one WJ nickel in change so far.
