That might be a candidate for a designation review on the PL--looks way frosty, but might have too much lustre...

It certainly looks like a nice coin. I've seen that seller's items before. Personally, spending this type of money, I would prefer a larger image of the coin.
  • Somewhat of a gamble but not much downside. auctions about 17-2800 at Heritage

    2nd generation holder too
  • It certainly is a beauty.

Looks nice in the small images. Seller Feedback looks good with 10 return policy. Doesn't look like much downside. Let us know what it looks like in hand.

Are you having him send it to you or directly to PCGS for an upgrade? It really is a nice Morgan...and I don't like Morgans.

Looks very high end for the grade.image
  • Hall probably doesn't have any PLs to sell.

    LOL

That guide is a little off anyway.

My gamble would be hoping for 66 anyway.

Nicest MS65 I've ever seen- any year, any mint.
I agree with Eric- it would have been cool to have a larger photo, but I'd place my money and bet it'll be as nice in hand as it appears in the auction.

  • Ok it has arrived and is a beautiful as the other picture. Unfortunatly my pics suck so this is the best. I have just sent it off to PCGS but my dealer says it is a "high end 65" due to the slight rub on the neck line. I think he grades 1990 standards so I should have a good shot at a 66 in 2004.
In any event I think I can get my money back if it does 65, it is a beaut.

I'm guessing that you don't think it's PL?

  • Nice coin, looks like it should be in a PL or DMPL holder.
I would send it to PCGS for a re-grade !!!
  • It's on its way to PCGS, I dont' think its PL but it might be if I gave it a dip. Going 66 would be a much bigger boost than the PL tag. If it doesn't 6 then I break it out, dip it and send it to NGC. if it don't 6 , ill break it and send it to pcgs and if.............

I think the last thing I'd do is dip it image
