Does anyone know if GAI grades them?? Dont you have to become a member of GAi to get cards graded through them?

PSA will indeed grade game used cards, as long as they are not too thick for the holder. The exact thickness where this cutoff occurs seems to vary, but it was posted here that SP Authentic patch cards are are too thick for grading. Check Ebay, you will see various GU jersey cards from Lebron, Carmelo, MJ etc. in PSA holders.

I actually thought about grading a few of my MJ GU cards, but any others seem to be a waste of money. As the GU fad wanes, the value of these cards (without autos) becomes nominal at best. Also, the younger collector who is generally the GU collector cares less about grading cards than the older, vintage collector. Condition isn't as big of a factor on newer cards, for obvious reasons.

nice response ct, I wonder if the thickness of the new ud 04 football is too thick. These game used and auto, bats, balls etc. cards are about the only thing I like to collect of the modern stuff and then I just get my fav's. I like knowing that I am actually holding a piece of jersey that was worn by my favorite player.

Yes I have two registered sets of Upper Deck golf shirt cards on the set registry, and yes they look very nice in the holders.. $5 specials are great for having these type of thing graded.

Golfcollector, I am a weekend hacker and since I started playing golf I have been looking for one golf card,Ben Hogan, I have always admired him and even bought some hogan clubs. I have the famous one iron shot framed above my mantle. Do you know anyone who might have a decent hogan card??? thanks
