I purchased this Semi-PL Cameo 1880-O about a year ago as an NGC MS-62. The seller and I both agreed that it was probably undergraded, and is obviously very premium quality for the grade.
The coin looks at least MS-63 to me.. What do you think ??

From the contrast between the fields and devices, it looks like a strong PL candidate. Hard to tell from the pics as to the grade, 62 - 63 looks about right. Nice find if it is a PL.

This is a tougher date to get into 3 and 4 holders, as the value really jumps with this date in those grades.
My favorite Morgan dollar date. First Morgan I ever owned was an 1880-O that I purchased off a bid board for $65 when I was in high school. That was big dough back then. The coin eventually slabbed ms/62 and even though dipped once or twice in it's history, it will always be a keeper for me.
Don't care much for Morgan's, but I can't seem to pass up purchasing 1880-O's.
