Just cracked my first slab

Wanted to thank whoever it was who posted the quick & easy opening technique - thin edge of a strong blade into one of the seams, then work it back and forth until things start coming apart. Nice and clean.

Also, props to PSA - the edges frosted IMMEDIATELY when the cracking began.

Now I can put my little PSA1 southern leaguer in with the rest of his companions, in toploader city.

I'm glad it worked well for you. I sure was nervous the first time I tried it. Be careful of slicing yourself while working at the seam. Better to slice off a thumb than the corner of a nice card, though...
