If I remember correct, Marooth had terrible run support last year, wasnt all that bad of a pitcher. Now 1 hitting the Yanks, wow...

But, if you want to play with numbers....

The Yankees have scored 488 runs while allowing 428. This correlates to a statistical 56.0% win/loss. However, they are at 63.6%. This might not seem like much but they are already almost 7 games ahead of their statistical W/L and are on pace to set record-setting numbers in terms of luck.
