Remembered the saying no good deed goes unpunished? Well, I hope to avoid having this post sound like PCGS can do no right, but there is something I don't understand. What is with the honorary set? The honorary winner is DWG's morgan prooflike set, and it is fully deserving in every way of an award. Here is where I am confused....
That is a great set, so great that it deserves to be in the top 20. Calling it an honorary set seems to do it a disservice.
Maybe the honorary designation is attributable to the fact the Denny (may he rest in peace) has passed away, but ............... the collection remains in tact, and accordingly, I don't think the honorary title adds anything.

<< <i>I took it to mean that it wouldn't have been chosen, but out of respect for Dennis they gave it the honorary award. Classy move. >>
Same thing I thought when I saw it.

Without readin too much into it, I am glad to see Denny AND the collection get this honor, and he was cool and the collection is awesome.
I thought it was a nice touch by PCGS to award an honorarium posthumously to Dennis Gigeous.
