Funny Place To Keep Your Cards

Hi,

While browsing through listings on eBay (50s Topps Sets), I stumbled upon this little gem. I'm sure it is totally legit (which makes it even more puzzling). Tell me, when you think it is time to take pictures of your cards (expensive cards) and post them on eBay to make a big killer sale, do you say to to yourself,

"Self, I think I will take the picture in the kitchen. Maybe right next to those 2-liters of Hawaiian Punch. I know, maybe if I throw a pile of crumpled up paper between the 2-liters and the box of PSA cards, that will look nice too. On the other side, I can carefully place a box of cereal, a plastic cup of pens, and a box of snot rags. And just to make sure buyers will know that their future cards are safe, I will fry up a batch of bacon in the background on the stove. There, that should do it. Click!"

If you find other auctions where the staging for the auction picture(s) is done as nicely as this, please post them.

Have a great day!
Bob

And how much for the avocado crockpot?

Seller has changed IDs six times, four in the last year. Interesting.

Really, who decided that the kitchen table is the best place to photograph their cards. At least clean off the table- you're selling a costly set of cards and you have Hawaiian Punch ready to spill all over them.

I have one question - who takes pictures of items you're going to sell when they're naked? You can be sure that when I scan my cards to upload into the PSA registry - I'm fully clothed image

I'm betting they aren't even his cards. Why I'll bet if you go back a couple of years, you'll find those same pix were stolen from one of the major auction houses.

  • All you have to do is email the person directly from the set registry address as the person whose set is registered's email address is there.

Terrible grammar, but you get the point.
