Question for Gem Jeff experts

imageI have a Gem roll of 43D Jeffersons that I bought from Bruce Amspacher in 1983. I am not a Jeff collector or that well versed in grading Jeffersons, but these are some beautiful coins. How would you sell 40 Gem 43D Jeffs?

Thank you.
Have a Great Day!

  • I would probably look at slabbing anything MS66 Full Steps or better.

    The rest I'd sell raw.

Louis, have you looked at the reverse for full steppers? I'd pull these from the roll if you find any. 43-DFS Jeffs are fairly common in all grades and MS66FS ones can be had off eBay for less then $50. slabbed. And if you do find any, this negates the idea of selling the complete 40 coin roll.

If there aren't any full steppers, then you could put it up on eBay.
Bid price for your roll is $200. If you put this as your reserve price, you make at least this much from them , or they don't sell. If that happens, try doing individual auctions of the better condition ones.

A couple of possibles for you.
