Triple SSS Sportscards

I just had a great experience w/ Mike Skerbe of Triple SSS Sportscards. I bought the card off the new website after he e-mailed me a picture of the card. I had the card in hand within a week of mailing my check. A real class act.

    Triple SSS Sportscards
I think there was a discussion thread about them a while back. I first met Mike at the Sports Fest in Chicago. I wish the web site had pictures - because you have to ask to have one sent. I really don't mind - considering the great items they have to offer.

Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.

I've bought many hi-dollar items from SSS and have never had a problem.

  • Bought some Football and Hockey from Triple SSS, quick turn around, outstanding
  • Why do the brothers look alike? This allows each to take the blame for each other. Yes , I am also an identical twin. Ron

Searching on that site crashes my browser. I'd still be interested in what he has.

If I'm not mistaken, they put a catalog out several times a year. Give them a call and they can send scans of what you're interested in. They have a LOT more mork to do on their site (which I'm sure they're well aware of!!).

I just bought three great 1960 star cards in PSA 8 from Mike at the National. He was excellent to deal with, great to talk to and their card prices were reasonable for stars compared to some of the other dealers outrageous prices I saw there. For example, I saw two 1961 Topps Cerv in an 8 at the show. Triple SSS had one for $375 (not bad) and another unnamed dealer from Colorado had one for $700. Mike's was better too.

the skerbes are great for graded material, they always seem to go the extra Mile, and their prices aren't that High in comparison with other big dealers. class act all the way.

    Who's Dennis Skerbe?
  • marinermariner Posts: 2,602 ✭✭✭✭
I know they have an older brother in Las Vegas, probably Dennis. I have not dealt with him but if he is anything like Mike and Mark, then he is a class act.
