OT-Canadian Folders(i know not U.S.)

Are there folders or albums for Canadian Coinage? I was thinking since the penny, nickels, dime, quarters, and loon dollars are so cheap they would be great to fill in an album.

Sorry its in the U.S. forum but, we get more attention here, so it makes sense.

I have a Whitmans for Canadian halves, cents (x2) and nickels.

I've seen them on Ebay and at coin shows.

Chief Coin Supply has Whitman Blue albums. Sorry I don't have and address or phone # on hand but perhaps someone can post this info. It's usually in the CoinWorld classified ads under "Canadian".

it takes a little more hunting, but that's half the fun. And, you don't get too many in change here in CA either.

But theres not any coins listed at like $100 plus, i hope.

Small Cents are pretty easy. Of the 80+ coins in the set I had gathered over 60 from change through the years. There are 4 "key" dates ( 1922,1923,1924 and 1925 ) that cost me about $100 total in the grade of XF. The 1955 "without strap" variety lists at $70 in VG but the "with strap" is only $1.00 in MS63.

Sticking with Elizabeth II (1953 to date) and avoiding pricey varieties in the denominations you've mentioned should be relatively easy and inexpensive. Pre-1963 coins (particularly the silver) gets costly quick.
