A new addition to my raw type set

It is nice and refreshing to buy coins for personal reasons again instead of for resale. I picked up this 1839 O Half today. I especially like this coin for the numerous die cracks on the obverse and reverse. Thought I would share with the board.

Nice coin.

You will find that many of the remaining 39-O Halves come with very cracked dies. Rarer to find them with few die cracks...

I kind of like them better with them.

Cool coin, JB! Original rules, and die cracks are also really cool! At the Baltimore ANA I got to fetch one of these in 62... I think I like yours better .

Now get a toner to add, too

I am trying to put toners into the set as I go. I would say it will have about half toners so the hunt will be fun. It is refreshing to be collecting again.
