Wow these things seem quite hard to work!

Just got my Dansco album in the mail today, thanks so much Traci.

  • Yea, I know. It took me almost a half hour to figure out how to get the coins in there.
  • No problem, Scott. Have fun filling it... image

I figured it out now, its loads of fun. Ive got a few in there now. Ive got quite a nice amout of stuff to put in there, but nothing in the categorys of half cents, dollars, half dollars, half commems, modern commems. Ive got mostly low grade stuff in there now, but once its all complete I will upgrade. Thanks again Gal. image

  • Oh! does anyone know if you can take apart the screw looking thingys in the middle that hold the folder together, that way when im putting coins in I can take the folder out so it doesn't wear down on the binding.

Yeah, you can take it apart, but it its kind of a pain to put it back together again.

Sure. Just open up the album to the last page. The 3 pins that hold the pages in are screws. You should see a slot in the pin. Just grab a slot tip screwdriver and unscrew it. It will pull out of the pages, and all the pages will come free of the album. The hard part is lining everything back up to put it together again. Try it, it's not really that hard, but not something I would do everytime I wanted to put a coin in the album.
