images of coins and medal found in my late father's things

Here are a couple of pics of the things that were in the boxes I opened from my late father. It took me 20 years to finally open those boxes. Anyway is some of the stuff. The medal is a Hindenburg combat medal first class I believe awarded to German soldiers who saw combat. There is also a 1943 sliver British half crown in here also. Sorry about the last image, I bumped the table and didn't take a clearer image.

  • I like very much half crown-looks like it has full luster at least at the reverse?! image

    Hey Shipcoin,
Yes the reverse is outstanding! The fields are almost prooflike however, the obverse is not so blessedimage
  • Love the German coins. I have some in my WWII collection. The Potsdam looks nice. A pricey coin especially in nice condition.
