Feast or famine...

A few weeks ago, I was lamenting that there was not a single coin on the market that I was interested in buying. Today, with the Richmond Collection auctions looming and some updated dealer inventories, coins on high my "want list" are all over! What's a guy to do?

Wouldn't you know it that almost simultaneously, I found nice, problem-free examples of both 1877 (NGC XF-40) and 1914-D (PCGS AU-50).
So now I'm practically eating ramen noodles for a month and not kicking on the A/C until the house hits 85 degrees. Sometimes, when you're going after something you don't see that often and they come up, you have to go for it. It makes up for the times when you have cash in your hand and can't find anything you're looking for. It evens out in the end.
Gett'em NOW, before you're sorry you didn't!
Edited to add: And that's the raw inborn part of the ID
Tell your wife that due to budget cuts, Medicare no longer covers x-rays. Eat at the soup kitchen for the next 6 months and bid on everything you want
LOL...Sayin' it's one thing...doing it is another; especially when contemplating the purchase of coinage.

Ahh yes, the Moody Blues. One of my favorites.

You have to ask yourself when you will get another chance to buy the coins you really like. If the answer is "often" then you can hold off. If the answer is "maybe not for a long time", then buy.

Sorry about the break. I hope that it is not too painful and that it does not keep you from working (unless you want it to). Might I suggest a CT with volume rendering and MPR, just to make sure everything fists nicely into place?

Ouch!
Sorry to hear about your break there mg. Consider a temporary/intermediate position in interventional radiology. Won't hurt as much!

Removes the colors from our sight...red is grey, yellow white, but we decide which is right and which is an illusion.

Watchlights fade from every room
Bedsitter people look back and lament
Another days useless energies spent
Empassioned lovers wrestle as one
Lonely man cries for love and has none
New mother picks up and settles her son
Senior citizens wish they were young
Cold hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colors from our sight
Red is gray and yellow white
But we decide which is right
And which is an illusion
You're killin' me -- I have to work today. No more 60's flashbacks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...and always will be! Their orchestral arrangement is "Second to none."

They didn't have the orchestra on this tour. It was neat actually. Kinda like going way back in time. Played in lower volumes too. Probably cause we're all way forward in time hahaha.
