crappy Naxcom experience

I recently bought five 1950 bowman commons from Naxcom, All were from the same seller.I looked and looked for a way to combine these purchases but there wasnt any. I even e-mailed naxcom customer service and asked them if there was a way to combine shipping from the same seller(no reply). On the naxcom website it states that 5 graded cards would be 4.25 + 2.75 for insurance which is $7.00. Which I did not have a problem with.Naxcom charged me $3.75 s&h for each purchase $3.75 x 5 cards =18.75 !!
Now when the cards arrived the actual seller did give me $5.00 bucks back as 30% off shipping for buying over 3 items, But that was still 13.75 s&h for 5 cards in a bubble mailer. The postage mark on the envelope was stamped 3.50. Until Naxcom has another free shipping month like they did in June I wont be ordering again. And probably wont be ordering then either.image

I just purchased 2 boxes of Topss 99 Football Chrome from the same buyer and it appears no problem ($9) for shipping. Give the CS a chance (how long?).

How did you do it? I really had nothing against the transaction it went very well, except for the 18 bucks they charged me for shipping. When I placed my buy bid I made sure to look at shipping charges and I beleive it was $4.25 + 2.75 = $7.00 which was fine, So why did they charge me 18.75 for shipping - 30% = 13.75 still waaaaay too much.I have contacted them twice about it via e-mail the first time they replied and wanted my acct# and transaction #s. When I replied back,I still have recived no response from them. But I see my acct# was charged for the exuberant shipping charges anyway. Still waiting on a reply from them.

I put in a buy offer and just got notification that I had "won". It was a few weeks ago (guess no one was buying at his asking price) I dont even remember the link.

I will try to find it and read it. What is the link to your items.

  • I may be wrong but it appears that Aknot had 1 "Buy Order for two boxes while you had 5 "Buy Order's" for five different cards. I think Naxcom charges the shipping per "Buy Order." For instance, if he would have purchased a 98 and 99 box from the same buyer, he probably would have been charged twice as well. I'm just guessin' though. image

  • I think they have some new rules for shipping. Also, there customer service is usually pretty good. I have never bought from them, though. My sales have all gone well. I'd give them a chance to reply.

Well I just got a card today in a TL and an envelope with 37 cent stamp. Im going to send an email to CS and find out if that is acceptable. Yes I know I recieved the card in good shape but if they are charging "set" shipping fees they should have rules on how it is shipped.

    Nevermind:
Please note: It is the seller's option of how they ship the item(s) to you (insured/non-insured,
envelope/bubble mailer). However, the seller must follow NAXCOM's Shipping Rules & Policies
