problem with upper deck

I bought a redemption card of a red ink terrell owens out of 2003 NFL SP SIGNATURE EDITION which according to the back of the box is #'ed to 75. when the card got here it is #ed to 100. i contacted upperdeck & they sent me a photocopied & highlighted page from the beckett saying they were #ed to 100. i sent them a photocopy of the back of the box & i never got a reply. sounds like they made an error on the back of the box perhaps? but in any event i wouldnt have paid as much as i did for it if i know there was 25 more out there. is there anything i can do?

You can buy the other 25 and destroy them.

Seriously, while you may be right, no way it will be worth paying a lawyer to pursue it if UD declines to do anything. Even if you win, what is your damage? That your card is worth a few percent less than you thought?

Hopefully, UD says "oops we goofed" and gives you some free packs or something.

That does not include the 100 that UD made and held for themselves. To be sold if and when the card reaches mucho dinero.
    Good for you.

I dunno, that guy who proved there were only 9 more Finest Jagr's than there was suppsed to be got taken care of. Anyone know if that was ever appealed? I'd think you have fair grounds for a dispute, though what a fair resolution might be I couldn't speculate.

That sucks. Sorry bro. Though I think the difference between 100 and 75 is pretty minute compared to the difference between 25 and 50 IMO. Even though it's the same # of cards... Personally I treat anything 50 or less as short printed, seems like there is a million that are 75, 100...150. I think you'll probably get the same $$ out of it as if it were #/75, but I could be wrong. I also think if you bugged UD enough about it they would concede and give you something, which I think you deserve. If you read a Beckett that said it was #/25 would they compensate you? Then why in the he-ll would you care that beckett says there is 100 when on the back of the card that UD printed, it says there are 75?

Raise a fuss and you'll get something...they owe that to you IMO.

Companies seem not to know what is going on and them showing you what beckett had is laim, the facts on
the box are what you are going by. I would ride their *sses as long as it take to get a TO #ed to 75. Don't
give up on them, call and get someone live!
