weird jerseys experiences

i recently got bored & was looking through some boxes from a few years ago. i routinely leave 1 or 2 packs unopened to open at a later date when i did i pulled a bob cousy GU card out of upper deck generations, but the fabric was a blue color??? i thought the celtics have always worn green. also the fabric looks way to new to be worn by cousy in a game. also i have a game used jersey of kazuhisa ishii out of 2002 box score that is obviously not a fabric. its a kind of a rubber type material. i contacted fleer & they wanted me to send the card in. The Cousy jersey could be from an all-star game, or an old-timer's game, or who knows what. UD's definition of "official NBA game" is probably broader than anyone else's. Or it could be a Royals jersey (weren't they blue?), though that would be something since he only played a handful of games as a coach. Or they might have screwed up.

As to the Ishii, you might be feeling the back of the card where the jersey should be because the swatch fell out. I've seen another card like that where the cloth was just not there, but the backing of the card was slightly sticky and didn't even feel like paper.

Double check to see if it's a jersey card. The last few years companies have used different materials. I got one recently from a pack of Ultra and it was a from a game used base. It was a rubber like material. I only noticed because I got the exact same card of the exact player in a previous pack and it was from a jersey.
