todays buy's

so i found an old store with a couple coins banging around today and had a few extra $$. i picked up a 1973-S, 1970-s proof, 1980-s proof quarters, 1 1910 liberty nickel and a 1944-d mercury dime, all for a mear $10
Two of the three proof quarters [1970-s & 1980-s] are beautiful, the 1973 has a very slight finger print and a few dings, but very well over-all.
The 1910 liberty nickel seems to have a ring around the top of the letters on the back, in ok condition [i like these anyway, and it was the best of the bunch available]. So i figured what the hell image
The 1944-D mercury dime is in pretty good condition [remeber im not able to grade these, still a newbie].
Think these were worth $10?

I'll try to get some pics if ya guys are interested image

  • I think you would have been able to get them cheaper at a show, or atleast I would have, but hey, neat stuff, I love just randomly buying coins. I would like to see the proofs, if its no big deal. Oh yeah, I know im not an expert or master at it but im working on it, learn to grade, trust me, it saves money.image
