For those of you who are dabbling with these and want to be able to tell the real ones from AT ones.

Here's an AT one

You could also look at the rest of his inventory to see what's AT... right now I think all but 1 or 2 are AT.

Hi Frank !! image How ya' doin' ?
  • I noticed a couple weeks ago that every one of his auctions are for toned coins. He has a website and it contains info about him and coins. I bid and won a few of his auctions and I got them for a pretty low bid. I am still waiting on the coins and time will tell. From some of the photos I would have to say AT. It will be interesting either way.

how was it at`d i wonder......
i think its toning from a dipping....possibly heat toned...
strip the skin on a 90%er, leave it loose awhile and it would probably tone like that.

WOW...That looks like one of my experimental AT Kennedys. This was the result of mixture of vodka, potato, heat and a little love.image However, I didn't get as much blue as the one in the pic

Hmmm the shipping may be worth more than that "monster" (as in an ugly troll) image

    Any thoughts on this?

If, for any reason, eBay's services are disrupted during this auction's closing hours I retain the right to cancel the high bid on this item and relist it.

Is the thumb print fake too?

The color is ugly, but that's just my opinion.

I think this coin was treated with sulfur soaked paper on either side - let it dry and that's what came out - pretty lame.
