Paypal personal account limit

If someone pays you with credit card and payment was denied will that counts towards your $1000 receiving limit?

I've got buyers paid me by credit cards (when my auction -- description and payment instruction stated NO credit cards and CANNOT accept credit cards through Paypal) and have been denying them. I saw my limit down to $450 and I still have some fixed price auctions running and some buyers who have not paid, yet.

No it will not count towards your $1000 limit. If you go to your paypal account....and click onto your account, it will show up as "unclaimed". Basically it's sitting in limbo until you either accept or deny it. Most likely you'd deny it so the buyer would know immediately via email from Paypal; and you can also email that person as well to tell them to make other arrangements for payment. I have a personal account as well. As a seller I state that in my description (from balance or checking transfer only....cannot accept credit card payment thru Paypal). I've had a few buyers that cannot read or ignore it. I don't include the paypal logo in my auctions because it has little icons of visa, MC, etc. That may be why they ignore what you wrote.
