Has anybody used borderfree yet (as buyer or seller)?

Borderfree service offered by Canada Post

Has anybody used this yet? I signed up for the service thinking I could finally ship safely to Canada. You mail the item to a USA address, then they ship it on to the buyer.

I'm really confused as to how the billing/payment really works. Reading the fine print, it says international buyers can only pay for item with Visa. Also, can you set your own shipping rates, or does it have standard rates?

Just wondering if anybody has experiences to share.
Yes, my ebay id is cardboardjungle.

  • Never heard of them. I can't say that I've had any problems with foreign shipping (sending or receiving). I've sent to Japan and Canada and purchased from England, Australia, and Canada with no problems. I don't see the need for the service myself.
