Paypal malfuction

Just for info. I tried to pay for a eBay item with CC around 12:44AM. I got a page that said their credit card processor was experiencing technical difficulties. Try back later.

    PayPal has that problem every now and then.

    I may be the only person on this forum that defends PayPal, but I am willing to pay the fees to keep from dealing with personal checks. My life is SO much simpler getting paid within minutes of auction close instead of waiting for the check to arrive and then depositing the check and then waiting for it to clear and hoping I don't get a NEG on eBay because I waited for the check to clear (which happened by the way).

    It is a price for doing business that I am happy to pay because it provides a convenience to me.
