Now this is near perfect centering

According to GRA, this card has "9.5" centering. I wonder if they graded a card with a "5" centering, would we see any of the player?

Ah, didn't see that one. How could a grading card company not have centering as a criteria? I can understand other things but not something so obvious.

He's just kind of semi-slabbing cards in his basement. Here's some of the feedback left for him :

CARD IS NICE BUT IT'S NOT A GEM MINT 10 (NO WAY) MAYBEE PSA 6

Gem 10 with a CREASE - Seller refunded all monies involved - Thanks !!

Good seller, but GRA's standards are VERY lax. GEM10 might be a PSA 7 or 8

Very fast Shipper. Card should not have been Graded 10 though, had creases in it

WARNING CARDS ARE NOT GRADED- COMPLETE SCAM DO NOT RISK!!

3 BENT CORNERS. CRACKED CASE. WORST MINT 9 CARD I EVER BOUGHT. NEVER REFUNDED $

discription of the card sure of been more clerified, large crease across

The card says GEM MT 10, but it has a pen mark and is off centered.

I just hate it when the seller and the grader are the same person - Graded Rookies Authenticated, Ikon cards, Gem, and FGS are a few that spring to mind.

<< <i>Graded Rookies Authenticated, featured by Beckett in the August 2001 issue of Baseball Card Monthly (e-Trends), is amongst the toughest graders in the industry. The card up for auction is virtually flawless in all respects. >>

Do these guys even read the banal descriptions they write? Toughest graders? image

Funny thing though is that Nellie fox "10" ended at $9.99 - A PSA-6 smrs at $18.00 - So in reality he's not fooling anyone, he might have made more if it was PSA slabbed. And a PSA-10 of that Fox would easily top $1000.00 ...jay

If that Nellie is "virtually flawless in all respects" then I have some '61s that should get me through the Pearly Gates when the time comes.

I'm glad this "GRA 10" went for half of a PSA 6. It gives hope that these dildos may eventually go the way of the dodos.

Yeah, but he still could have made a profit.
