1950s New York Yankees Autographed Ball

Not sure about the story behind it, but the ball was passed down to me. I've just managed to match all of the following names to the ball. All are decently clear except for Yogi Berra unfortunately. There are one or two marks on the ball. No official stamp, blank except for the names. Just wondering if anyone knew a ballpark figure for its worth...I'm guessing a couple hundred? Also, I put it in a plastic baggie until I can get to a sports shop for a case...will it be ok in that?

Be aware that some may be "Clubhouse Signatures" which were done by the ballboy or somebody else OTHER than the actual players.

Once you get a case for it, I'd send it to PSA/DNA for authentication. It would be tough to move an item like that, especially not knowing the history behind it without some sort of authentication. If it passes, I'm sure you'll do quite well with it either on eBay or through an auction house. Good Luck!

Also should take note if the ball actually has "facsimile/stamped "signatures and not original ones. A lot of people are fooled thinking they have the "real deal" when they really have a ballpark souvenir.

My best guess would be somewhere around $900.00 to $1,500.00. If it were an OAL Harridge ball it might get a bit of a premium IMHO.
