1898 Barber Half PCGS PF-68 Cameo

I took the advice of most on this board and sent the coin in to one
of the big boys. 1/4 Page Display with a color photo.
I am sure that most including Russ are wishing
me the best of luck. Pittsburgh is a beautiful city. LOL

    Cleon,

I hope the coin sells for big money. Nobody had any problem with the coin.

Everyone had problems because you were so belligerent.

Heck, I just gave you some nice advice and you jumped all over me.

People were also angry because you put the coin up 1 cent NR and stopped it three times...

So...good luck... and dont come here to start more crap with Russ or anyone else. Fair?

    John

Hope that this brings the big bucks to bail you out. But I must note that the photo Heritage took sort of stinks for how nice the coin must really look. Comes out sort of hazy with a mottled reverse toning. The description (claiming only minor marks) is not all that laudatory either as to why this is one of the best 68's out there.
I always thought that PF68's should be essentially flawless under 5X, and the best 68's should be very close to perfection.

    Cleon,

I too think that you should call Heritage and get a new pic taken.

Hound their butts and make sure that they do it right.
